Clinique is one of those brands which develop products with very light yet efficient textures. I am and forever be a fan of the Take The Day Off cleansing balm (also, I have to mention this here, I’m a tireless user and a believer in the efficiency of the Sonic System Purifying Brush).

Clinique products are mostly intended for young skin, like 20+, however, they are very efficient on older complexions.

I love the fact, that the products are perfume free, this is one of the most important facts for me.

The formulas are also super gentle and I can only recommend this brand to those of you ladies with sensitive, very sensitive and acne prone skin.

Clinique Moisture Surge is an oil-free range which targets dehydrated skin.

I’m not exactly a fan of gel-like formulas, however this one feels so good on the skin, that I really love to apply and wear it.

The perfume-free texture is a weightless gel which becomes water-like when in contact with the warmness of the skin.

It refreshens the complexion, it makes the skin look more plump, smooth, it blurs my pores and keeps my oily T-zone under control; it also makes a great make-up base.

It calms the skin during hot days and keeps it comfortable. I like to keep the jar in the fridge for a more dramatic refreshing effect!

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief comes in two sizes: 30ml/ €22,20 and 50ml/ €33.

Ingredients: Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Betula Alba (Birch) Bark Extract, Silybum Marianum (Lady’s Thistle) Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Saccharomyces Lysate Extract, Sucrose, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Trehalose, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Sorbitol, Oleth-10, Tromethamine, Caffeine, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Hydrolyzed Extensin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, PEG-8, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Carbomer, Hexylene Glycol, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Red 4 , Yellow 5

Conclusion

Perfect for young complexion, combination, oily and acne prone skin.

This is not a product which targets fine line and wrinkles, however it surely can be used (especially during the warm season) on 40+ complexion in combination with a wrinkle correcting serum.
