I’m far away from being a fragrance expert, however I now exactly what I like and the one perfume which will eternally be my love, the perfume with an extraordinary impact on me will forever be Guerlain’s ‘Samsara’.
Fragrances are such complex products, I don’t think one can fully express in words exactly how they influence our senses, our being, our levels of happiness or sadness, our self esteem, our boldness.
Yes, we can talk about notes, longevity and sillage…however, each perfume impacts each and every one of us so personally, so differently, that, in my opinion, one could never ever truly describe a fragrance.
I, myself, like fresh, clean perfumes; sweet, but not too sweet, floral, but not too floral…however my sweet and my floral might be too much or too little for you.

It was launched last month with blue being the specific colour of the bottle.
Also, the cute little black dress design on the distinctive La Petite Robe Noire bottle was inspired by Marilyn Monroe’s dress.
What a beautiful fragrance bottle, it looks like jewellery; it’s created with so much attention to detail.
The “upside-down heart” cap is simply gorgeous.
Also, the size and shape makes it easy to hold.
For me, this is a sweet, floral fragrance; it’s not too heavy, so, I can wear it during the day (even the warm days) and I love it during the evening as well.
It resists on my skin and on the clothes for 8+ hours and when it fades away, it becomes lighter, the sweet notes become less distinct but the flowery notes stay the same.
It is ‘gourmand’, I think this word characterises the fragrance with success, it is elegant, it is sexy!
