I must confess that I am obsessed with oils … I like to use them on my body, face, hair, eyebrows, nails. Although I prefer organic, natural, raw oils, I love to experiment with oil –based cosmetic products as well; so, you can imagine, that the moment I heard about the new Clarins release, namely the lip oil, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it because I was convinced that I would love it.
What Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil promises

Mirabelle oil (for honey shade): helps prevent dehydration and leaves the skin supple and satiny-smooth.
Raspberry oil (for raspberry shade): nourishes, protects the lips from ageing and possesses anti-oxidising properties. “
My opinion
The Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil has a gel-like, slightly oily texture like most of the glosses.
It feels a little sticky but very light, comfortable and nourishing.
It hydrates even my very damaged lips (because of the cold, windy weather, my lips are super damaged).
After application, the aspect of the lips improves within minutes; part of the product penetrates the skin, and the amount that remains on the surface creates an attractive shine that makes the mouth look neat, sexy and discretely, naturally colored.
The applicator is brilliant because the surface and shape of it massages and soothes the skin.
The taste of the product is deliciously sweet and the smell is fruity.
Although it doesn’t last long on the surface of the lips (it has the same lasting power as most glosses), however it acts like a balm and moisturizes the lips deeply, it acts as a protective treatment and the skin feels comfortable for many hours after the first application.
I like to use Clarins lip oil even at night before going to bed.
In my opinion, it is a great option if you like light and moisturizing products on your lips or if you need a luxurious treatment with immediate results.
I recommend this lip oil and I cannot wait to use it during summer days when my tanned skin will create a great contrast to my glossy, hydrated lips!
