Caudalie’s cleansing range has received a revamping treatment not long ago, with improved formulas and a packaging face-lift.
You can choose between multiple cleansers and also combine the products according to your skin’s needs.
Instant Foaming Cleanser (€16,20/ 150ml)
You only need a pump of product for cleansing the entire face and neck area. It feels like silk on the face and has a very calming effect and a lovely flowery smell. It is very gentle and doesn’t dry out the skin, that is why I’m recommending it to all skin-types. It works more like the second cleanse product; in order for all the makeup to come off, you will need something else. I love to use the Instant Foaming Cleanser in the evening (after I first cleanse with an oil or a balm) and I usually combine it with the Overnight Detox Oil: in my palm I mix a pump of foam with 1 drop of detox oil and then I cleanse with this mixture; then I rinse off with the Caudalie Grape Water (€7,90/ 75ml). My skin looks hydrated, smooth, with good looking pores!
Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil (€17,60/ 150ml)
You need 2 pumps of this product for cleansing the entire face and neck area. It feels like a light oil which warms up and activates when coming in contact with the warmth of the skin. It smells sweet and lovely. It removes delicately all types of makeup without irritating the skin or the eyes. I love to sprinkle my face with Caudalie Grape Water (€7,90/ 75ml) and then apply the cleansing oil; I then remove everything with a face cloth. I recommend the Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil to all skin-types especially sensitive ones (be aware though, that the product contains sweet almond oil). I’m using the oil when I practice self-massaging the face, it works awesome!
Micellar Cleansing Water (€16,20/ 200ml)
I love to use micellar water in the morning and I’m keeping it in the fridge during hot days. This is a great product, very gentle to the skin; it refreshes the pores and smoothes the skin perfectly, I also love the smell of green grapes. Remember that micellar water is not meant to remove makeup, it removes impurities which accumulated on the skin over the night and it works as a second cleanser.
Gentle Cleansing Milk (€16,20/ 200ml)
You only need a pump of this product for the face and neck area. It smells fruity-flowery and has a creamy texture. It removes makeup very gently and can be used by massaging the face with the hands (like with the cleansing oil) or on a cosmetic pad. I like to mix the milk together with the Instant Foaming Cleanser and remove everything with a hot cloth. I recommend the Gentle Cleansing Milk to those of you who deal with sensitive skin.
Moisturizing Toner (€16,20/ 200ml)
It is a lovely product which, again, I like to keep in the fridge. It refreshes, makes the pores look better, it smoothes and prepares skin for the next products. It doesn’t dry out, can be used on the eyes, too and it’s perfect for all skin types. It smells fruity-flowery, exactly as the Gentle Cleansing Milk.
I’m also very excited to tell you that, we, FINALLY, have a Caudalie SPA in Belgium!
It is based in the beautiful Brugge, inside the old city and is very easily accessible.
It is a small place, with 2 spa rooms and everything looking impeccable; also, the lovely ladies working there make you feel at home.
You can choose between 7 Facials and 3 Body Treatments.
I’ve only had a head massage (which I can only recommend because it was truly something special) at the launching party but I will go back for a proper treatment after I’m returning from my vacation, so, I’ll tell you more after that.
