Aurelia Probiotic Skincare is a London based skincare company founded in 2013 by dermatology expert Claire Vero. It has already received MANY awards and the brand’s philosophy focuses on reducing inflammation, stabilising the skin’s defence system and slowing the ageing process.
Dermatologist Claire Vero discovered (while working with patients with skin disorders like eczema, psoriasis, skin dryness, skin ageing) that reducing inflammation was the key to healthy and beautiful skin, and that using probiotics topically does magic to the skin.
The main probiotic used is bifido bacteria and the range is free of synthetic fragrances, colorants, parabens, mineral oils, silicones, sulphates, propylene glycol, phthalates, GMO, PEGs, TEA, DEA, MI, formaldehyde, urea, mercury, lead and bee venom; the products are manufactured in England and not tested on animals.

I’ve only received a sample, but I had enough in order for me to use it each morning and evening for the last 2 weeks.
The fragrance is genius, the essential oil blend of Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Rosemary and Bergamot revigorates in the morning and calms the senses in the evening.
The texture is creamy and it must be used on dry skin.
I apply it and massage it for a few seconds until the product penetrates the skin completely and then rinse the complexion with warm water or use the antibacterial bamboo muslin cloth.
I prefer using my hands while rinsing, because I love the gliding sensation provided by the product when it comes in contact with water.
It’s not the perfect make-up remover, but it works heavenly for cleansing.
It’s not aggressive at all, I’m always keeping my eyes open during the cleansing process and don’t feel the slightest discomfort.
It cleans and refines pores, it refreshes the complexion and it prepares the skin for the next products.
The skin looks clean, hydrated, smooth and glowing afterwards. In the morning it’s really coffee for the skin and it improves circulation beautifully.

The fragrance is discreet and very pleasant and disappears a few seconds after application.
The serum is very moisturizing and the complexion looks smooth like silk, refreshed, dewy and glowy afterwards.
In my opinion, anyone can use it, regardless of age and type of skin; it also makes a superb make-up base. It is very light and the fragrance is lovely. It melts in contact with the skin’s warmth and penetrates the complexion completely without leaving any greasy or sticky residue at the surface.
It’s moisturizing and offers an instant smoothing effect while refining the pores and mattifying my T-zone.
That’s why I think it makes the perfect face cream for the combination skin and also the perfect product for warm days when we need something super light, yet hydrating, calming and comfortable.
It makes a great make-up base and its complex enough to be used alone without the need for a previous serum.

I absolutely love this brand, the products act like balms and offer to the skin exactly what it needs.
They make the perfect products for the warm season and for the transition periods, when our complexion shifts from the winter days- when there was the need for more rich textures- to warmer days; they will also be perfect for the summer- to – autumn transition period.
They have efficient anti-inflammatory effects and, in my opinion, people with acne problems can opt for this brand’s skincare products.
