It’s the first time that I have the chance to try a foundation and an illuminator pen by Yves Saint Laurent Beauty; I received these beauties over a week ago and I couldn’t wait to discover them.
I’m a big fan of YSL nail polishes & eyeshadow and so I knew these two new products, will suit my makeup routine to perfection.
First of all, don’t they look just beautiful?
Touche Éclat Le Teint in B50 Honey (€50/ 30ml) | This foundation is newly reformulated and ‘enriched with the stimulating power of Ruscus Extract; the anti-fatigue formula energizes skin by stimulating micro-circulation and targeting dullness to instantly improve skin brightness and luminosity. Vitamin E protects against free-radicals’.
The bottle must be shaken for a few seconds before using the foundation.
Touche Éclat Le Teint has a liquid formula, I like to call it a serum foundation. It’s not runny but more liquid than the average foundations.
It has a discreet and pleasant fragrance which disappears a few seconds after applying the product on the face.
It is very light, smoothing, it blurs pores and imperfections, it refreshes the complexion and keeps it hydrated throughout the day.
On my face, it looks impeccable after 8 hours, so it definitely keeps its promise (I’ve also been to the dentist while wearing Touche Éclat Le Teint, and my makeup looked perfect even after the medical session).
I usually like to retouch my T-zone in the middle of the day because I have the impression that it glows too much, but, in this case, it’s more like a habit, not a necessity.
I apply the foundation with my fingers and I like to observe how beautiful my skin looks after just a few seconds.
This is a buildable foundation but the coverage is more like medium.
It looks very natural, it doesn’t cake and it’s resistant to transfer; it’s more than just a foundation, it’s a skincare product that also offers a beautiful colour to the skin.
In my opinion, it suits each and every skin type and it’s one of the best foundations I have tried so far. I can only recommend it!
It comes in 16 shades: B10, BD25, B30, BR30, B40, BD40, BR40, B50, BD50, BR50, BD60, B60, B70, B80, B90, B45.
Touche Éclat in 2 Luminous Ivory (€36,50/ 2,5ml) | One of Yves Saint Laurent’s cult products, this beautiful pen is so easy to use, so easy to transport and so complex.
It can be used as a concealer but also as an illuminator.
I always use it as a concealer because it’s exactly what I need.
Regular concealers somehow don’t suit me because they are not enough hydrating and they manage to accentuate the fine lines under my eyes.
This one is absolutely fantastic because it’s hydrating and very light, and because it manages to cover my dark circles; it’s also effective in concealing my under eye bags, they don’t disappear but the pen is offering a natural radiance to the sensitive skin under my eyes and so my under eye bags look smaller.
It’s a pleasure to use the Touche Éclat because it generally improves the under eye area which looks refreshed and radiant.
I recommend it to those of you who like a natural looking makeup, who have very fine under eye lines, under eye bags and dark circles!
It comes in 6 shades: N°1 Luminous Radiance, N°2 Luminous Ivory, N°3 Light Peach, N°5 Luminous Honey, N°6 Luminous Amber, N°6,5 Luminous Toffee.
If you are looking for products that make your skin glow, that offer a natural and resistant make-up, that act not only as make-up products, but also as skincare products, then you should give Touche Éclat Le Teint and Touche Éclat a try.
They won’t disappoint, I promise!
