In creating this collection, Rebecca Minkoff (essie Global Colour Director) was inspired by the groovy 1960s in London.
It’s a very fun collection with pigmented hues which are easy to apply.
It features six shades, from cozy to glam; with a medium formula which is very pigmented, dries fast and does not stain.
Staying power: 4+ days.
For each swatch I had used a base, 2 coats of polish and a top coat.
go with the flowy (€12,49/ 13.5ml) | A dove grey with a subtle shimmer which is not immediately noticeable but it does catch the light.
A beautiful hue, one of my favourites!
oh behave! (€12,49/ 13.5ml) | A sheer peachy pink full of pink and gold micro shimmer, a retro shade, in my opinion.
I think it will look very sexy during the summer especially on the toes.
satin sister (€12,49/ 13.5ml) | A gorgeous peacock blue creme hue!
Super pigmented and glossy, another favourite!
party on a platform (€12,49/ 13.5ml) | A classic red, a must have!
Very pigmented and easy to apply!
getting groovy (€12,49/ 13.5ml) | This palladium gold will make the perfect sparkly gold mani around the Christmas holidays.
ready to boa (€12,49/ 13.5ml) | A bronzed mahogany with very fine pink and gold micro shimmer in it.
A beautiful, elegant hue, another fave!
Essie’s Fall 2016 collectionn is my absolute fave with the Winter 2016 collection coming as a VERY close second!
I love Essie in general, the quality of all the brand’s products is just impeccable!
