Essie’s Fall 2016 Collection honours autumn in Japan and was inspired by one of Rebecca Minkoff’s trips to Tokio. I must say that, so far, this one is my favourite from all of Essie’s Collections.
The 6 creme hues are just beautiful; with a medium formula which is super easy to work with, they are very pigmented and completely opaque in two coats.

They don’t stain the nail (however, I’m always using a good quality base coat), dry fast and are gorgeously glossy even without top coat.
Essie’s Fall 2016 Collection includes 3 light pastels: udon know me, go go geisha, now and zen; and 3 dark hues (which remind me of the beautifully coloured fall leaves): maki me happy, kimono-over, playing koi.

Essie’s Fall Collection 2016 is one of the most complex collections because these hues are perfectly wearable all year round, they match a lot of skin colours and definitely every age.
I cannot wait to wear maki me happy at Christmas and kimono-over at New-Years Eve.
The pastels are just perfect during spring and summer when the skin is tanned.
Also, go go geisha is the perfect pink for a bridal manicure.
It’s a collection which offers something to each and every one of you; it’s also just the perfect basic collection for you ladies who would like to own a few hues which match each and every possible occasion.
Like them all, but I absolutely love go go geisha and now and zen! Amazing collection 🙂
