Niche perfumes (check out some more brands here) are such complex fragrances and I’m very happy to be able to discover some of the new releases for the warm season.
Goldfield & Banks | Velvet Splendour (€145,00/100ml)
This is the first perfume Goldfield & Banks owner-creative director Dimitri Weber has collaborated on with Mr. Kos.
Velvet Splendour is meant to celebrate spring in Australia when the mimosa blooms.
This unisex perfume has a longevity of 8h+ with the following notes: mandarin, medione, australian acacia absolute, orange blossom absolute, jasmine sambac, australian sandalwood, patchouli, hatian vetiver, leather accord, tonka bean, opoponax, heliotropine.
Velvet Splendour is definitely too floral for me, however if you like your perfume to be oriental with a touch of vintage-chic, then it’s definitely something you should try.
Juliette has a gun | Vanilla Vibes (€110,00/100ml)
This is my absolute favourite niche perfume for the summer, it suits my senses so perfectly that I’m really addicted, I’m even wearing it at home.
It’s the kind of fragrance that lifts my spirits and puts me in an awesome mood whenever I smell it.
The bottle reminds me of the colour of the sea and sun and the fragrance itself smells salty like the ocean breeze with a touch of vanilla.
Vanilla Vibes has the perfect balance of sweetness which makes it perfect for day and evening wear.
It’s a unisex perfume with a longevity of six to eight hours.
Top note: salt; middle notes: vanilla absolute, orchid; base notes: sandalwood, tonka bean, musk, benzoin. (source: Fragrantica)
Parfums De Marly | Cassili (€210,00/75ml)
The perfumers Calice Becker and Nanako Ogi have created a fruity floral fragrance with a combination of berries and rose.
This feminine and elegant perfume is perfect for the warm and cold season, day and evening.
The precious bottle looks like a work of art and is sleek enough to be carried in the travel bag.
Top notes: red currant, bulgarian rose, floral notes; middle notes: plum, mimosa, frangipani, petalia; base notes: sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla. (source: Fragrantica)
