Two weeks ago I had the pleasure to attend my first blogger event themed exclusively around perfumes.
Coty has launched 3 new Hugo Boss fragrances (one of them is presented in this article, the other two will appear in a separate blog post) and I’ve been lucky enough to be there and hear/ see/ smell everything.
This sophisticated event took place in one of the most stylish areas here in Brussels and even the weather has contributed in order to make the evening quite perfect.
While enjoying crisp champagne (my usual event ritual) I was informed about the new perfumes, I also had the chance to know details about past launches and enjoy some of the classics.

I’ve been a fan of Hugo Boss fragrances for years now since my husband ‘cannot live’ without the classic Boss Bottled, launched in 1998.
During the evening I’ve discovered a new launch for women: Hugo Boss Ma Vie Florale and had also the opportunity to find out details about an older perfume: Hugo Boss The Scent For Her.

Hugo Boss Ma Vie Florale | A fresh, powdery and slightly flowery scent which was not necessarily love at first sight since I’m not a fan of powdery perfumes.

However, as it’s usually happening with complex perfumes, after days of trying it, Ma Vie Florale has become one of my favourite fragrances for wearing during the day.
It’s perfect for spring and warm summer days, perfect for wearing at the office.
It’s fresh, clean and feminine with a longevity of about 4, 5 hours.
The pink bottle is minimalistic and elegant. Ma Vie Florale is available as an Eau de Parfum in bottles of 30ml/ €49,00, 50ml/ €69,00, 75ml/ €89,00.
Ma Vie Florale:

It was launched last year and matches perfectly The Scent For Him.
It’s a fruity and sweet fragrance which lasts many hours and can be worn during the day but also during the night.
It has character and power, it’s sophisticated and sexy, it’s exactly how I like a perfume to be. It’s perfect for the cold months and spring however it could be too strong for hot summer days.
The bottle is luxurious and full of character. The Scent For Her is available as an Eau de Parfum in bottles of 30ml/ €59,00, 50ml/ €80,00, 100ml/ €115,00.
The Scent For Her:
“The perfume opens with juicy and velvety shades of peach combined with freesia blossom in top notes.
The heart is based on osmanthus, famous for apricot scent, while drydown features roasted cocoa, which deepend the composition and provides a darker note and a characteristic gourmand twist.” (Source: Fragrantica).
