Over the years and especially after I gave birth, my skin became more and more sensitive…these are probably the repercussions of the long days of sun-bathing without any kind of protection. Now, I am very cautious with my skin and the SPF increases every year…50+ this summer.
I use to share the body lotion with my son, and this time I chose a product from Eucerin: Kids Sun Spray SPF 50+. It’s the first time that I use this brand and I like it very much.
The lotion is formulated to protect children’s sensitive skin from short term sunburn; additionally it contains Glycerin that moisturizes the skin and strengthens its natural barrier function. The product has a very light texture, liquid consistency, it penetrates instantly into the skin without leaving it greasy and without creating that white film on the surface; it is easy to use and extra water-resistant.
The price is about 15.00€ / 200ml, it is free from parabens, colorants and perfumes.
After sun exposure, I use the Facial After-Sun Tan Prolonger from Bio Beauté by Nuxe (the organic range from this brand) which is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive ones. The product has a pleasant sweet-fruity smell, a light and creamy texture, which penetrates into the skin instantly and provides all the moisture that the skin needs after a day in the sun; it leaves the epidermis looking soft and smooth, it provides a cool sensation and prolongs the tan.
The price is 12.50€ / 50ml (when it comes to specific products, I prefer to opt for smaller bottles and I never use a product from one year to another).
For the face, I use the Anti-aging Face Suncare from Caudalie. It has a creamy and dense texture which hydrates perfectly, diminishes the pores and leaves the skin smooth, with a non-sticky matte finish.
The price is about 25.00€ / 40ml and the product is free from parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, mineral oils, SLS; the brand is against animal testing.
