Top 4 Winter Lipsticks That Will Make You Insanely Stylish

Today’s article is about lipsticks! I’m usually a gloss-girl and during winter I use mostly balms because my lips tend to be very dehydrated. However, there are days when I absolutely love to wear a bold lip. Lipsticks are such fun and they have a great effect on my mood.

Estée Lauder – Pure Color Envy – Envious

I always have a powerful red in my collection and this year’s favorite is Estée Lauder’s Pure Color Envy in ‘Envious’ (€32,50).

This lipstick is highly pigmented, the texture is very creamy and comfortable, it resists about 4 hours without the need of retouch (even if I drink/ eat during this period) and it hydrates the lips throughout the day.

I think ‘Envious’ is just the perfect shade of red, it makes me look stylish, glamour and sexy. And during the holidays, this red is a must!

Bonus: the lipstick-case is absolutely beautiful!

Dior – Rouge Dior – Mauve Mystère

I’m very obsessed with purple lately and Dior’s Rouge Dior has a fabulous metallic shade ‘Mauve Mystère’ (€35,00) which I find gorgeous.

It is an elegant color which I like wearing during the day in order to bring some color into a grey and dark winter day, but also during the evening for sensual and chic lips.

It has a hydrating and creamy texture which resists OK but needs retouches after a couple of hours or after I have something to eat.

I think it is a fabulous shade, which adds character and originality to dark outfits during the evening and makes a bold statement during the day.

Tom Ford – Lips & Boys – Liam

I think Tom Ford makes the best makeup, everything I have tried so far was gorgeous!

The Lips & Boys collection is about mini-sizes, the colors are made from rare ingredients such as Brazilian murumuru butter, soy seed extract and chamomile flower oil and the lipsticks are named after men that have inspired Tom Ford throughout his life.

I chose ‘Liam’ (€29,00), a dark eggplant shade with slight sheerness.

The size of the products makes it very comfortable to use, the texture is creamy, not very opaque and easy to apply; it resists many hours on the lips, it is buildable (I like to wear a lighter shade during the day and a darker shade during the evening) and very hydrating.

Chanel – Rouge Noir – 109

Chanel did a fantastic job with the ‘Rouge Noir’ collection, the best Holiday 2015 collection, in my opinion.

Each product is pure perfection and luxurious quality.

I love the shade of the lipstick which carries the name of this collection, ‘Rouge Noir 109’ (€35,00); it is a ‘black red’, a reddish plum, very pigmented, very intense, but also sexy, chic and elegant.

It is almost a matte lipstick yet creamy, very comfortable, hydrating and long-wearing.

I like to use it together with the lip liner in ‘Rouge Noir- Vamp’ (€23,50).
