Sisley | Event & New Launches

About two weeks ago I had the pleasure to attend a super chic event which took place in the heart of Brussels, at the Sisley HQ. While entering the headquarters, I only saw beauty around me…cosmetic products looked like jewellery, fresh flowers were arranged strategically in order to welcome us and the room was decorated with beautiful colours…I especially loved the lush pink couch.

While drinking crisp champagne, of course (I know, I’m mentioning this every time I’m describing the atmosphere during a beauty event, but I love champagne, and for me it’s essential for having a perfect evening) I was discovering Sisley’s new launches; we are talking about skincare but also make-up.

First of all, three new products were added to the purifying range:

• the Gentle Cleansing Gel With Tropical Resins (€66,00/ 120ml), a soap-free foaming purifying cleansing gel perfect for combination and oily skin;
• the Intensive Serum with Tropical Resins (€120,00/ 30ml) which reduces pores and shiny areas;
• the Mattifying Moisturising Skin Care With Tropical Resins (€93,00/ 50ml).

Another extraordinary product, which I will soon add to my routine, is the new lifting skin care:

• the Double Tenseur Instant & Long-term (€130,00/ 30ml); I’ve only tried this one on my hand during the presentation and it really has impressive immediate effects: it instantly smoothes and refreshes the skin.

The new “star’’ of the body range is:

• the Neck Cream Enriched Formula (€122,00/ 50ml).

Regarding make-up, the new anti-aging foundation was launched:

• Sisleÿa Le Teint (€115, 00/ 30ml).

Also, the iconic Phyto-Lip Twist is now enriched with two matte shades and with a tinted balm:

• the Phyto-Lip Twist Mat in Kiss and Tango (€35,00);
• the Phyto-Lip Twist in 16 Balm (€35,00).

 
Sisley Neck Cream Enriched Formula (€122,00/ 50ml) | I love this product!

It’s been only this year that I’ve started using specific products for the neck and décolleté area.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve always been applying serums and creams, however they’ve been the same ones I’ve been using for my complexion.

I find that specific neck and décolleté products, have a special formula, very light, however rich and super hydrating.

I recommend that each and every one of you ladies should use a neck and décolleté serum or cream, at least after the age of 35!

The neck, décolleté and hand products are as important as the face products!

Sisley Neck Cream Enriched Formula has a discreet flowery fragrance which disappears almost completely after application.

The texture is very light, yet hydrating; it has an instant smoothing effect and after a few applications, the skin becomes more firm (definitely thanks to the caffeine extracts) and good looking.

It is a pleasure to apply this cream because it has a slight refreshing effect and it glides beautifully on the skin.

 
Sisleÿa Le Teint in 3.R Peach (€115, 00/ 30ml) | One of the best foundations I’ve used!

It’s the first time I’m trying a Sisley foundation and I must say, at first, I was a little skeptic, however, it’s impeccable quality.

It keeps the skin hydrated and freshly looking throughout the day, it doesn’t cake and has a staying power of 8 hours.

This is a great foundation for all of you 35+ ladies, or for those of you who deal with dry complexion.

It has a light, fluid texture with a floral, discreet fragrance.

It’s buildable, however with a medium coverage. It offers a natural finish and it’s very comfortable.

Sisleÿa Le Teint is available in 8 shades: 0B Porcelaine, 0R Vanilla, 1B Ivory, 2B Linen, 2R Organza, 3B Almond, 3R Peach, 4B Chestnut (B= Beige; R= Rosé).

 
Phyto-Lip Twist Mat in 18 Tango and Phyto-Lip Twist in 16 Balm (€35,00/ 2.5g) | It’s not the first time, that I’m writing about Phyto-Lip Twist.

I love these lip crayons, and my favourites are definitely the mattes…so pigmented, so long lasting, so good to the skin (not at all drying), so easy to apply.

Thank you, Sisley for launching Phyto-Lip Twist Mat, I’m definitely a fan!

Phyto-Lip Twist in 16 Balm is also a good idea, because it can be used as a treatment for having hydrated, slightly tinted lips throughout the day.

It can also be used on-top of the Phyto-Lip Twist Mat (as seen in my photo) for creating a more dramatic look or for the extra hydration.

Both of the crayons can be easily carried around throughout the day in order to easily retouch the lips and/ or create a day to evening lip make-up.
