Hey there stylish ladies! After My Morning Skincare Routine and My Evening Skincare Routine, here’s the final chapter, which is about the facials that I give myself during the weekend.
I’m dealing with combination skin so, for me it’s necessary to, first of all, properly exfoliate in order to clean the pores and take rid of the blackheads, which tend to appear mostly on the nose.
Also, a good exfoliation removes dead cells, smoothes wrinkles and fine lines, reduces pigmentation spots and prepares the skin in order for it to better absorb all the serums and creams afterwards.
My choice lately, is Filorga Age-Peel New Skin Resurfacing Programme (56,90€/ 5 sessions) .
The product works in 2 steps: first, I clean my face area with the Pre-Peel wipe, which contains papaine enzymes and activates a gentle exfoliation.
Then, I apply the peeling gel mask and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
After the exfoliation process, my skin tends to dry, so I need a nourishing mask.
Chanel’s new range ‘Le Lift’ is obviously about firming and it includes some pretty good products. My favourite is the mask.
Le Lift Firming Anti-Wrinkle Recontouring Massage Mask (80€/ 50g) is very rich and nourishing, it hydrates deeply, it smoothes the skin beautifully, it refreshes the face contours and makes me look younger…for real.
The texture is creamy and smells delicious (I would have appreciated a mask without perfume though).
Although the recommendation is to massage it into the skin and then let it sit for just one minute, I prefer to let it work throughout the entire night because, in my case, the results are much more spectacular that way.
That’s it!
