Clinique Sonic Cleansing System Purifying Brush

Clinique Sonic Cleansing System Purifying Brush is my favorite gadget! Since I got it, it became my daily necessity! I have been using it for almost two months now, but I saw the effects from the very beginning. Although I was skeptical about the utility of a face brush, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

This cleansing and purifying brush is very light and easy to handle. I use it in the morning with Clinique’s Liquid Facial Soap for combination skin and twice a week with my favourite exfoliating gel (from a different brand). Although Clinique has designed the device to be part of the 3-Step Skin Care System, it can be used, in my opinion, with any cleansing product.

Since I use this gadget, my facial skin is plumper, clearer (especially in the T-zone where I deal with blackheads and enlarged pores), smoother and brighter. When using the machine in the morning, its gentle vibrations refresh my skin and if I use it at night, it has a relaxing effect. Besides being very light, the shape of the brush allows a comfortable grip; it is small- ideal for travel; it is waterproof; it keeps a full charge for 3 hours.

The brush bristles are curved and very fine: the white ones are softer- ideal for the more delicate areas of the face; the green ones are firmer and target the T-zone.

It is not recommended to use the cleansing brush with an exfoliator, but this mix really didn’t cause any problems for me (don’t use an exfoliator with the cleansing brush if you have sensitive skin though!) because the product is gentle; after this “treatment”, my the skin looks like after a facial.

The brush automatically turns off every 30 seconds helping me to organize the facial cleansing; I generally use it for 2 minutes, once or twice/ day.

I clean the brush head under running water but Clinique recommends to change it every 3 months.

The price of the brush is approx. €130 and the price of the replacement head brush is approx. €20.
