CHANEL Cruise Collection 2017 is a very solar makeup collection; it really reminds me of the blue sky, the tanned skin and the relaxing & fun days at the beach.

It’s been a month since I received it and I’m wearing it every day.
It’s so easy to apply and so pigmented, it’s just a pleasure to wear it.
It is housed in a beige lacquered compact with mirror on the entire inner lid and includes a demilune natural-bristle brush with white bristles.
The super fine texture has a beautiful undulating wave pattern and a very discreet flowery sent which dissipates immediately after application.
This latest version was upgraded with mineral butters and beeswax; it is easy to blend, it’s buildable and it gives the skin that healthy-looking radiance which looks like almost coming from within.
CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine in 527 Golden Sun (€ 36,00/ 3g) | This lipstick is just perfect for summer at the beach when the skin is tanned and the pop of peach on the lips is just the perfect shade.

It is hydrating, with a creamy texture that is easy to wear and to apply (I don’t even need a mirror when I apply it). Staying power 2-3 hours (without eating or drinking).

It is housed in a retractible format with a texture that is buttery smooth and glides effortlessly along the lips.
It’s definitely more pigmented than the Rouge Coco Shine 527 Golden Sun and with a better staying power: 3-4 hours (without eating or drinking).
This is the perfect coral shade for spring and summer.

In my mind this shade looks even better on the toes than on the nails during summer when the skin is tanned and we are wearing sexy strappy sandals.
This peachy hue is completely opaque in two coats and the shimmer which can be seen in the bottle doesn’t show up on the nails.
It has a glossy finish and a staying power of 5+ days with top coat.
I’m comparing it with another CHANEL polish, the 539 June which is a few years older, I think I bought it in 2011.
I must say that CHANEL really improved their polish formulas, 539 June needs 3 coats in order to be completely opaque and the staying power is 3-4 days.
However I must say, that CHANEL hues really preserve perfectly over the years, they are the most long lasting nail polishes with a formula that doesn’t change at all.
