Caudalie | Gentle Buffing Cream & Deep Cleansing Exfoliator

Caudalie | Gentle Buffing Cream & Deep Cleansing Exfoliator

These two goodies arrived at the beginning of September, right after my long holiday at the seaside. Perfect timing because they were the perfect help for my taking care of the complexion which wasn’t in a bad moment, however needed a light exfoliating treatment.

After almost 2 months of constantly using the Gentle Buffing Cream and the Deep Cleansing Exfoliator (which both have a new look) I’m ready to tell you how they work.

Caudalie Gentle Buffing Cream (€22,00/ 75ml) | This gentle exfoliator smells beautifully of lavender and has a light creamy texture.

The exfoliating particles are not aggressive at all and not very abundant.

The product is excellent for all of you who deal with sensitive skin.

I like to use the Gentle Buffing Cream during my episodes of mild acne when my complexion also gets a little reactive.

It soothes the skin, it purifies the pores, it doesn’t dehydrate and it gently improves circulation.

It’s also great for quick fixes, like during hectic mornings when we just need a beauty boost in order for the makeup to sit better on the face.

It’s recommended to be used twice a week (although I like to use it more often) and followed by a mask.

Caudalie Deep Cleansing Exfoliator (€22,00/ 75ml) | This product is great for combination skin.

It generally rebalances my complexion and it keeps in check my T-zone which tends to go crazy with sebum.

It has a citrus perfume and the exfoliating particles are more dense and harder than the ones from the Gentle Buffing Cream.

It refreshes the skin, refines the pores, improves circulation and it’s the great remedy for dull skin and for areas prone to developing blackheads.

It’s recommended to be used twice a week (although once every week is enough because it’s super efficient, however in a gentle way) and followed by a mask (I usually use a hydrating mask afterwards).

I also LOVE to apply it on my hands; it’s fabulous because the hand cream absorbs perfectly afterwards and is more effective.

I recommend the Deep Cleansing Exfoliator for those of you who deal with combination and oily skin.
