I normally don’t use lipsticks, I prefer glosses. However, this summer I found 3 lipstick shades that I absolutely love because I can wear them regardless of whether I’m tanned or not and regardless of the moment of the day.
In order for the shades to last longer (in my case, they last up to 5-6 hours, even if I eat/ drink in the meantime), I also use lip liners: first, I trace the outside edge of the lips for a perfect, fuller pout; then I fill in the color with the matching lipstick.
- Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss in Pirate, 35 € / 6 ml; very creamy and comfortable.
I use it together with Chanel Le Crayon Lèvres in Rouge Profond, 23 €.
- Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Mat, in 208 Fétiche (part of last year’s limited collection for fall – “Leather Fetish”), 35 €; creamy, hydrating, very comfortable.
I use it with the lip liner No. 3, 24 €.
- M.A.C. Lady Danger matte, 19 €; not very creamy and not the most comfortable, however it is the longest-lasting lipstick and the shade is fabulous!
I use it with the lip liner from the Pro Longwear range in What a Blast!, 18.50 €.
I always use Tromborg’s Lip Cure after removing the lip make-up, because it effectively treats, heals and nourishes this sensitive area; it has anti-inflammatory properties, absorbs quickly, feels like velvet and smells delicious.
I use this great product while sunbathing, too.
